At their peak , they were both in Italian clubs: Batistuta in Fiorentina , and Ronaldo in Inter back in the mid-late 90s.

Who was better?

I think Batistuta was a more traditional striker (had better heading and positioning) , while Ronaldo was the young innovator of a style later copied by players like Henry , Shevchenko , Adriano , C.Ronaldo , Ibrahimovic etc...


I cannot tell which is better.
