Battery time on HP Pavilion Entertainment Laptop?

I used to have the Vista on a Gateway laptop, and whenever I hovered my mouse over the battery icon in the bottom right hand corner, it would tell me how much TIME I had left on my battery (i.e. 50 minutes). We recently bought a HP Pavilion Entertainment laptop (Vista) and whenever I hover my mouse over the battery icon, it will only tell me how much PERCENTAGE of the battery is left (i.e. 50%). Is this because of the different model of laptops or is there a setting I can change in order to display the time left on my HP pavilion?
