I did not watch the miniseries as i could not find it online so maybe it's explained there, but why did the cylons initially attack humans, and the colonies? Was there a build up to conflict or were the cylons always aggressive? thanksbtw i'm only through the first 5 eppisodes on s1 so please don't give anything major away in your answer if it's answered later in the series.</blockquote>
