Hey I got a bearded dragon a month ago (he is 8 weeks old, and i started feeding it romain lettuce and strawberries, (of course crickets, im not that dumb)

anyways my dads friend who has had a lot of beardies, and now his son has one,
he said to NEVER give a beardie a grape because there is something in them that can kill them,

is there any other kind of fruits and vegetibles to stay away from

and are bananas and apples okay(and dont worry i do smash the lettuce and strawberries because its still small)
I rounded the age its probably a little younger

stay away from
Spinach- I've heard its bad for them
Ice berg lettuce- gives them runny poops

My beardy loves loves loves
Strawberry's and kale, will only eat these!
So picky

OK..for starters, romaine lettuce is fine, just don't give him iceberg it's basically just water. Other foods they tend to like is carrots, peas, kale, dandelions (as long as your sure they haven't been exposed to any chemicals), broccoli, green beans, banana, apple. They also like other insects as they get larger. My daughter and I have had 3 bearded dragons over the years and they all loved meal worms and super worms. I would just avoid citrus fruits and watery veggies, like cucumber or celery..they can cause diarrhea.

You can give them lettuce but not ICEBURG lettuce. When we gave my sister's beardie carrots it was disgusting when he had to poop. Strawberries are good though.
