The Bee Gees singer Robin Gibb died on Sunday after a lengthy battle with colon and liver cancer. He was 62.
The Bee Gees were comprised of Robin Gibb along with his twin brother Maurice and older brother Barry. The Bee Gees were 70s disco icons with top hits such as “Stayin’ Alive” from the Saturday Night Fever soundtrack. The Bee Gees sold more than 200 million records.
Maurice died in 2003 of complications resulting from a twisted intestine at age 53. Younger brother Andy – who was not in the Bee Gees group but had his own pop success – died in 1988 from heart failure at 30.
