So I just had my last day of finals of college, and in the morning I'm flying home with a friend to stay with him and his family in New York City (I'm from Oregon). But I just got sick. I'm talking bad fever (although I don't have a thermometer to take it with), chills, bad aches in my shoulders and neck, I'm pretty out of it, and a really bad sore throat. A friend of ours just got over strep, so I'm very worried.
I have been looking forward to this trip for ages. I can't not take the flight, because I can't stay in my dorm room any longer (you have to leave the day after your last final).. I can't afford to cancel my flight and book another flight home.
I don't know what to do....HELP
I'm going to be meeting his parents and sister for the very first time, and I wanted to make a good impression. But I feel like I'm just really out of it, and not in the right mindset to make a good impression
