Hiya!
Can I claim Council Tax and Housing benefits and go for a few days to France?
How do they react when they see it on bank statements (they check bank statements to see if you do not have another job or another income)? Am I allowed to go for a few days away? Do they have a right to reduce or stop the benefit because I do not spend money only on food?

Heres an idea!! GET A JOB!!!

If you are receiving housing benefits and council tax benefits then something is seriously wrong. You shouldn’t be able to afford luxuries like holidays!!!!

I work my a*se off and I can’t afford to have a few days in France so why the hell should you be able to!!

Arrrrhhhh makes me so mad to think Im workign to support a holiday for you!

Yes of course you can.Its usually JSA you cannot claim as being away you are not available for work. Many people work and due to low wages also claim housing and council tax benefit ,enjoy your holiday in France.Fedup.co,get a better job or claim some benefits you miserable sud.

You can spend your benefit on anything you like. They are not allowed to tell you how to use your income.
