with the advent of cellphones.. 2 way radios advantages are extremely limited..
they MIGHT be cheaper than a phone.. but i doubt it.
radios will have limited range.. and be less likely to be eavesdropped on by the NSA than cellphones. but 2 way radios will probably not be scrambled and will be broadcast in the clear.
