I am planning on buying an Infiniti G35, but on the inspection report it says "Right side chassis bent". What does this mean and how does it affect the car? Can it be repaired? If so, how much does it cost?
The G35 is built upon a platform so it does not really have a chassis. What they are no doubt saying is than an accident has bent the floor pan which is a pretty serious issue. The car generally will not track correctly and will never ride quite like it should. Repairs are iffy and expensive. I'd pass on the vehicle unless it is at half of bluebook.
