im thinking of getting a chameleon :3, i have basically got the perfect environment for it in my bedroom (im not just saying that, i do know what im doing :D) but i am not sure about what size of flexarium i should get
i am going to buy a baby bred in captivity and a starter kit, i have two options - the rather expensive 100gallon flexarium, or a cheaper 38 gallon one. money isnt a problem for me but obviously, i dont want to spend more than i need to and i dont want to make a massive change to the layout of my room, but if a 100gallon tank is essential, then itll have to.
but, for the chameleons whole life, or at least the first year, is a 38gallon tank going to be ok for it? it wont spend all day every day in it, id like to be able to let it out to explore or sit on what will be a mini habitat on my desk (^ ^) so i cant see it being a major issue but still, these questions can only be answered by people with experience.
also, with the bigger flexarium, should i consider getting an extra heat bulb and lamp, or will just one of each or what comes in the starter kit be enough?
thanks for any answers or opinions
(please no comments from "know it alls" about why i shouldnt get a chameleon because theyre not toys etc as i am putting a lot of thought into this and am a serious dedicated animal...owner :s, and no suggestions to get a bearded dragon/leopard gecko etc please, i have them already :) )
