I'm looking for the smallest SUV in which the back seats will fold down completely flat and allow me to stretch out completely in case I need to sleep in the car. (I'm 5'10") I haven't been in one yet but the Toyota Rav4 seems to be about the ideal size from what I've read. However, other features important to me are V6 engine, automatic, 4WD, overall dependability, best gas mileage given the above & upward opening rear hatch (Rav4 has a side hinge which is less than appealing). I'm an avid hiker & camper and am looking for something rugged and capable but also reasonable enough for city life as it will be my only vehicle. Has anyone else like me out there found this kind of car? Thanks!
