Recently I upgraded my ride from a really tiny Acura integra to a little bit bigger but still small for a truck 2003 Toyota Tacoma. In my Acura I had 2 12in Alpine type R's being pushed by 2 Alpine MRP-M500's in a HUGE ported box...it sounded amazing for such a tiny car, but now that I have a truck, I no longer have a trunk, but an access cab in which to put the subs... So my question to you is...should i fill up the entire access cab with the same system i had in my trunk before? What is the best setup for a smaller truck? A lot of my friends with bigger trucks only have one 12 in sub in a ported single box and it sounds pretty good but its not the boom i want so to speak... Also, would 15's sound better in a truck vs 12's? I could do a single 15 if need be.... but should i run 12's or 15's in my access cab? Thanks in advance!!
Have no interest in going to a 10 inch...12 or 15 only please.... and im sticking with Alpine, as I have never gone wrong with them in the past, been using them for years...question was more about size than brand...
