...karate chops from opposite directions? towards an opponent's neck (often resulting in decapitation.) In my 70+ years of research, training, instruction, and study of Martial Arts I have yet to find an effective way to stop it. Has anyone else found one?
 
Form your fists into one big rock and block the scissor slice with it. Everyone knows rock beats scissors every time.
 
They're completely squared up and attacking with both hands, limiting mobility (and force, since neither hand will have much behind it.) So, lots of things.

You could step back. Or step into them- that kind of idiot stance is completely open to trapping and clinching. Or just high guard. Or anything with any sort of basic striking defense, really. That's a stupid move, and you've gotta be kinda dumb to think it's worth anything after 70+ years.
 
Only some one with zero knowledge of martial arts would could it a karate chop.
Either that or your a complete idiot.
