Okay, so, i really wanted to breed my betta fish, but im starting to think that i wont, but the point is i currently have both a male and a female, (separate tanks, of course) however, i have the female living in a rather small (not too small) tank, which is too small to heat, but the male's in a bigger tank and i just bought a heater for it.
My question is whether or not i can put them both in the 10 gal tank, one per side of divider. 'cause i only have one heater, I am NOT paying another like, 12 - 30 bucks for another, so ya.
Also, i change the small tanks water at least once a week, and treat the water and stuff, but how do i handle tank hygiene for the 10 gal one? cause i had a filter with a betta once. . . the filter sucked it up. . how do i clean the tank/ change the water?
