do you explain this?.. read bellow...? We know from 1Kings 8.39 that only YHWH can search one’s mind. Take it in the context if you want it, but Solomon said to YHWH: “for you ALONE know the hearts of all the sons of men”.
We know also that Christ as the Messiah knew very well the entire Scripture of his age, which was the Old Testament, so Christ knew very well the text of 1Kings 8.39. Since Jesus knew YHWH alone, I said “alone” (this is what 1Kings 8.39 teaches us) knows men’s hearts, how could He make the statement He did in Revelation 2.23 if He doesn’t consider Himself equal with God? See the text of Revelation: “I am He who searches the minds and hearts”. That it’s Christ speaking, not the Father, you can be sure by the verse 18, that identifies the one speaking as being “the Son of God, whose eyes are like a flame of fire, and His feet like fine brass”.
So… your thoughts, please… how could Jesus not consider Himself equal with God if he takes to himself power and an authority that according to 1Kings 8.39 could apply to YHWH alone, again I said “alone”?
Thanks everybody.
THE LORD JESUS SHALL PREVAIL.
