Bikes for an amateur!!!?

hey! i'm 18 and i live in cyprus..i've never driven a bike before, but i'm surrounded by supersport bikes and i love them! i've riden before, and i'm obsessed! im ok with cars, but i'm a very petite female, and although it sounds silly, my only fear is that i may be too small for one!! im 4''10!! pls dont tell me that could stop me from riding! as i have no idea how to get started...
