i am the manager of a pet shop. we have had 2 birds (yellow amazons) for almost 30 years as shop birds...not for sale. one of the employees has been feeding these birds french fries from mcdonalds...today, the bird was dead. he was 30, which is not old for this type of bird. another employee is convinced that the fries killed this bird. does anyone have any ideas on could fries, or any form of potato be considered toxic to birds? any help would be appreciated...
