birth control help? im a rookie/:?

ok so i started birth control sunday made me sick to my stomach yesterday didnt take it last night (stupid me) but my dr said the sickness wont last very long to atleast finish the first pack and then quit or think about switching, so idk what to do, do i throw away yesterdays pill? do i take yesterdays and today? together? or take one now and take the other at bed time? im taking ORTHO TRI-CYCLEN LO.... what can i do to ease my sickness. i go to planned parent hood so i got the "samples" instructions are small and i cant read them.
