I am a bi female and not out. I have a crush on a girl that I believe I misread as bi. I think she really is straight but just flirtatious and playful.
Problem is she is a new friend and we're working on a project together along with others so I have to interact with her. She is flirtatious and very affectionate and because she is affectionate with everyone, I know there is nothing special about it with me. And I enjoy her affection, flirting and compliments because I have a crush on her. We've also been talking a lot recently on the phone (for hrs) and I have really enjoyed that too.
But I don't want to get caught up in the attention and the bonding anymore because it hurts a lot when I think that a relationship may not develop out of it. It seems as if the closer we become as friends, the more the crush grows & the more I hurt at the same time. She has also said she enjoys chatting with me so she extends the talks.

How do I get over her and prevent myself from hurting anymore
