Bittorrent connection question?

I want to download some movies and TV shows to put onto my iPhone 3G...so i downloaded Bittorrent and downloaded 2 Fast 2 Furious over night last night, it downloaded perfectly...but i tried downloading xXx:State Of The Union when i got back home from school but it didn't connect...i hadn't turned my comp off or anything. How do i get the icon to turn green as if it says its connected...

Putting something in your queue with a bittorrent client does not guarantee that it will be downloaded, let alone that it will be downloaded quickly. #1, are you connected through a router/firewall? You may have to allow passthrough fro certain ports that BT uses in order to get decent speed. #2, is the file reasonably seeded? Do a little reading up on your BT client's website if you don't understand what I'm asking.

It will only turn green when it finds a "seeder(s)" of the file.
Green status light indicates downloading.

When downloading torrents, make sure to select a file that has plenty of seeders
