I have Bit-torrent 6.0 and I am downloading a 4.42GB game. I has downloaded 90% of it in 24 hours but then it started saying 2-3 weeks! I have 51 out of 429 peers to work with. My up speed is 32.1kB/s as we speak and the down speed is 0.2kB/s! I have gotten the torrent file at "www.isohunt.com" I have a average dsl box that is hooked up to a LINKSIS router sharing with 4 other people in my house hold. Also it says "A port must be forwarded from your router to BitTorrent to get good speeds. This port is used to let other peers connect to you" My current port is # 33824 and I test it to see if it is forwarded properly and then it says: Error! Port 33284 does not appear to be open. I have no idea what the port means or how to make it appear open or anything about a port. I also barely understand how to read and understand what the Bittorrent program means or how to read it if you know what I mean.
I hope some one can help me:(
