Blackberry OS 6 installed on 9700?

Please help! I downloaded OS 6 to my T-Mobile bold and it works perfectly except for the fact that I can't get any apps... It won't allow me to get BB app world and it said I have an "unsupported operating system". Also, if I restore my setting using my DM will that interfere with my current OS?? PLEASE HELP!
 
You are getting the unsupported OS error because you are using an unsupported OS.

T-Mobile has not released OS 6.0 for the 9700. The latest supported OS is 5.0.0.714.

The Restore feature will restore all data that was backed up regardless of the OS that is installed on the phone (your OS will not change).
