Blackberry storm 2 sim card in jailbroken unlocked iphone 3g?

im sure this gets asked quite often but i havent really found an answer yet. i have a blackberry storm 2 with verizon and it comes with a sim card. if i buy an iphone 3g that is both jailbroken and unlocked and put the sim card from my blackberry storm 2 in the iphone, will it work ?
