Blackberry storm won't charge?

I haven't used my blackberry in a long time, so I switched to a new phone.

I finally decided to go back to my Blackberry, and I plugged it into the wall charger. The light on the wall charger is green. However my blackberry is not showing any signs of turning on.

Am I supposed to wait a couple minutes? Am I turning it on wrong or..?
