so this is going to sound incredibly stupid, however i dropped my beloved phone in my hot chocolate (dont ask how) i got it out pretty much instantly however i didnt switch it off i wiped it with a towel and realised that the screen and buttons werent working i then removed the battery and hair dryed it for about ten minutes and rebooted it but it was the same i then rebooted it a few more times (stupid i know!) and after that the screen came one for about 10 secs then switched off and came back on again etc. i then carefully took it apart and hair dryed it thoroughly on a cool heat for the best part of an hour i then left it for about two hours and tried it again but it was still turning on and then off again. i have now put it in a plastic bag with plain white rice in and will leave it over the weekend. can anyone tell me if there is any hope for me? i am so worried as i cant afford a new phone, im not insured and my dad pays for the contract so he will go mad! i am at crying stage now can anyone give me advice! x
