Blocking Numbers on Verizon?

Sooo I have a person that really just causes drama and i want to block their number for a little bit... how do you go about doing this? I really dont want to go to the store- can I do it online? I would also like to know how to unblock it when all the drama is over.

Also a Friend told me you can contact them, but they cant contact you... is that true? any info about this at all is apresiated!!!
 
You usually have to pay to block a number.

Just ignore any contact from that number; it's probably a better option.

Or just call verizon and tell them that you want to black a number and pay up.
