Message: <blockquote data-quote="patg" data-source="post: 580075" data-attributes="member: 212189">I just bought a Sony BDP-S300 and also have a Sony 50" SXRD television.  When I saw Blu-Ray being demonstrated at Best Buy (with Pirates of the Caribbean), the picture just about jumped out of the screen.... almost like 3-D!  I have played I Am Legend, Oceans 13, and National Treasure 2 (all in Blu-Ray), and although the picture is good, it just doesn't "jump out" like the demos in the store.  I am using HDMI cables.  Am I doing something wrong in my settings?  I set the DVD player up as 1080p.  I don't think there is anything for me to adjust on the TV.  Any ideas?I don't want to say I am disappointed, per se, however when I dropped $400 on the DVD player I expected to see a HUGE difference in the picture.</blockquote>
