Blu-Ray problem, dotted screens?

Certain discs, in particular my Ratatouille Blu Ray when played on my PS3 presents a lot of dots evenly spreadt throughout the screen. This does not happen during the previews that the disc launches into and only starts when the main menu pops out. I played a live action concert Blu Ray later on it's pristine clean. Also the PS3 main menu screen seems pristine. I'm using a HDMI cable from Sony and my new LCD is a 40 inch X series Bravia from Sony.
