BlueRay or HD DVD Player? Which should I get?

which will win? don't want the loser than have no movies for it. can you hook up HDMI to the blueray player or ps3? which has a better picture? i have a plasma if that makes any difference
 
The studios are currently running away from HD DVD at high speed. So Blueray is almost certainly going to win.
 
would be patient,a lot of new players are due to be released very soon. Also,many companies are still undecided to go with either blu-ray or hdd
