Bluetooth problem?

I have a laptop with a built in bluetooth device. i dont know what it is called, but the device manager says it is made by toshiba and calls it a "Bluetooth EDR device", and also says it is active and working properly. How do i make it discoverable?

open search
type:
Bluetooth EDR device
start search
if u got some results then click on them (one by one)
if it works than ok
but if it not work then
i've no way
BUT
on the bluetooth switch on computer
if u want to discover other bluetooth devices
then on the bluetooth of your mobile
after few sec.
open "my computer"
move scroll down
u will see that there is extra icon in "my computer"
click and then u r able to access the mobile on computer
