Hey,

Check your notebook spec's it will tell us is the notebook has configured with Bluetooth or not if it doesn't have the Blue tooth then we have to use the external Blue tooth adapter to conntect notebook to bluetooth phone..

However visit the following link and discribe your issue with the Hightly trined HP technicians:

And let me know the feedback as well as result

Apparently you haven't purchased the bluetooth program that goes into a USB port yet. You need the program to "find" your phone or any other bluetooth device.

You need to install the driver first of the bluetooth. It came with a cd installer. Then, connect the bluetooth device, a dialogue box will appear "new hardware found'. A installation wizard will appear on the screen, just go through the process of installing it.

Then, you can enable now your bluetooth devices, just check on the settings. Then enable as well the bluetooth on your phone.

Go into control panel and see if you have a bluetooth program...if you do not this means you do not have bluetooth hardware on your computer...now i believe you can get a usb type bluetooth connector with software...spendy tho
