BMW F 800 vs. Yamaha R6

So I'm thinking about getting a new bike. I love the BMW's in my life and I know that they make wonderful machines. Before now I've just never thought about getting a bike. So the two I'm thinking of are the BMW F 800 S or BMW F800 ST or the Yamaha R6. My main reasons behind these two choices are:

1) I work for BMW and the dealership I'm going to buy the bike from sells both BMW and Yamaha, so financing is easy for me.

and

2) i know each of these bikes will be a blast to own.

I'm looking for some good opinions here. give me some pro's and con's to help me decide.

You have to buy what makes you happy... Personally, the only BMW I would have over the R6 is the HP 2 sport.

I think the R6 puts it all over the F800, I am a Yamaha guy, so I may be a bit Biased...but an 800 that is only producing 85HP seems a bit low to me. And, I am just not really a V-twin sport bike type of guy either.

But like I say, you have to be happy with the bike you buy, so get the one you want...the BMW is a BMW..

BUt the R6 will out perform it in every catagory, I have no doubt.
