bmw superbike vs ducati superbike which on goes faster and is just overall better?

all right well me and my friend were arguing over bmw and ducati i think bmw superbikes go faster then ducati but he thinks ducati are top of the line and go faster but i was wondering which goes faster and which is better overall like on turns and stuff which one would u get if you could get 1 for free. also just wondering r bmw moutain bikes any good (just found out they made them today lol)
say it was the same rider and i dont only want to no which has the top speed but which is better overall like the bmw maybe faster then the ducati but the ducati is better overall. ALSO ARE BMW MOUTAIN BIKES ANY GOOD
 
I only have numbers from 05 and earlier. They both have bikes with top speed of 172. Ducati has a couple bikes with slightly faster 1/4 mile times than the BMWs.

absolutely the ducati. sorry man but the ducati is the closest thing youll ever get to a real racing bike. the new one red lines at 15k rpm
