Book that used to be sold on PBS?

When I was younger, I saw this sort of "infomercial" for PBS with this couple who home schooled their kids and then wrote their own FUN science book with a whole bunch of "recipes" for these crafts and science experiments. They demonstrated quite a few on television, but I'm trying to remember their names or the name of their book. Any help?
