Message: <blockquote data-quote="RD" data-source="post: 2670536" data-attributes="member: 297335">Hello All!I was trying to help my friend to fix her laptop computer.  She is been receiving an error that says"BOOTMRG is missing".   I google it and it said to put the recovery disk.  I tried to do that and when I inserted the recovery disc in the computer, it was not doing anything.  I still keep getting the error message.  I also tried to do a CTRL-ALT-DEL and also shut the system down and unfortunately didn't work.
