Can anyone figure this out?
-The meeting starts on the other side of the bridge in 17 minutes.
-The bridge can accommodate 450 pounds.
-There are 4 people to get across the bridge (They each weigh between 200 and 222 pounds).
-All four must be in attendance at the meeting.
-It is night- and dark. Actually dark.
-There is one flashlight and it must be used for each crossing.
-The flashlight must be returned to the other side for the others to cross.
-Larry requires 5 minutes to cross.
-Dave 2 minutes.
-Jim 10 minutes.
-Mike 1 minute.
No tricks, mirrors, or smoke. You can't throw the flashlight back across. You can't wait in the middle, or stand at one end shining the flashlight on the bridge.
I have no idea if it's even possible; for all I know, it's a classic unsolvable one.
