Brak wants to know, "Why are motel wireless internet providers so weak"?

I am staying at a Howard Johnson and they have free wireless internet provided but the signal is so weak and so slow too. Why isn't it as strong as other places?

Because there are a ton of peep gobbling up the bandwidth.

In some places, the signal is weak because there Wirelesss access points are in there main offices and near there outside patio. Also, alot of people are either on business trips, so they need the internet, or people just want ot surf the web, so alot of the bandwidth is gone. Try connectiong to the internet ni the lobby of the hotel. That might help.
