My picasso has gone haywire. I accidently stalled it and then after that all the lights on the dash have stayed on even when the key is out. I cannot now start the car and the central locking is not working. Got the RAC man up and he disconnected the battery for a couple of minutes and connected it. The car did start and the lights went off. The computer unit says there was an engine fault but the RAC man says there wasnt an engine fault, it was the BSI unit probably faulty.
Ive heard that it could maybe need resetting cos I dont wanna pay £700 on a new unit when perhaps it doesnt need one.
What can I try?

Take it to your nearest Cit dealer and get it re set on their computer. They make a charge of around £30
