Well I was using my stereo and it has two amps hooked up to it with four 6x4 speakers and it was a iPod connector on it so I can work my iPod just by the stereo. And one day it would just turn off randomly and would last acouple of days then just shut off and start up again. Then one day it would work and once I plug in my iPod it would shut off And start up and shut of and repeat Untill I unplug my iPod. Then the next day it worked fine. Then the next day... TODAY... It wouldnt Evan turn on. It would just flicker then black then flicker again so I pulled it out and theres burn marks everywhere right after a connector cuz it's been spliced alot. But it stops at the 10 size fuse that's on the wire and the rest of the wire to the stereo is fine. Is the wire Gage to small?
the only wire that are going to my stereo are: RCA for front L and R, Rear L and R, Subwoofer L and R, Amp remote start wire, Antenna, and my ipod cord.. my speakers and subs all go to my amp and there on separate power... Should i get a thicker gage wire?????????????

You have too many wires connected to the stereo wiring and you will start a fire .
