buying a phone off the internet ? please help.?

okay, so i have an alltel phone and i water damaged it.
so to make the story short, i need a new one.
i want to buy one off the internet .
is there anywhere besides ebay that i can buy one and just take it up to alltel to get them to switch out for me.
instead of having to start a new contract ..

ebay is about the best deal. you can call alltel cust. service to connect it though. you dont have to go there. also try craigs list.
