After many years I've finally convinced my parents to let me have a pony, Which we're looking for at the moment!I know ponies are very expensive to look after and to buy. I've been looking up prices at my local tack shop for rugs,tack,horse boots etc. and they all add up to quite a high price! Its also €120 a week for livery until the summer! So I've been looking for ways to cut costs on items that aren't neccesseties from the beginning.... For example I was thinking I could use human shampoo, and buy a few cheap headcollars for the field and decorate them using fabric paint..I was just wondering does anybody have any ideas to lessen the cost of buying a horse
Also I know we have to put money aside for emergencys,farrier etc.
