Buying an Alltel phone?

I already have an Alltel contract, but need to replace my phone. I was looking to buy one online, and was trying to figure out if I would just have to buy the phone at the set retail price, or if I could get the online discount or rebate without renewing my contract?

if you buy it through alltel you will have to buy it at the retail price unfortunately.

if you want to buy a cheaper one, your best bet is ebay.
