i have a g35 sedan and it came with 17's oem wheels, but i recently bought 19's and after putting it on, it feels like its harder for my car to brake than before. When i had the 17's on, it was really easy to brake, now with the 19's, i have to step on the brake alittle harder for me to brake the same as before. is this normal? i heard it is because of the bigger wheels and tires. please help me out...

thats because your car isnt made for 19 in. wheels. better go back to what the manufactory calls for.

Yes bigger wheels and tires are the cause of that. You need to get your ABS system recalibrated for those bigger wheels you have, because the ABS is the asssist braking system in your vehicle that helps you control the braking of the vehicle. Having bigger rims and not calibrating them can confuse the system therefore having difficulty braking.

Check your local dealership if they do that kind of upgrade if not hit up your local performance shops, they may do that or know of where to get it done.

The larger the rims on your vehicle, the heavier the strain on the brakes. Usually when you upgrade to oversized rims, you should upsize your brake rotors. Try to think about a 20lbs dumbell spinning in the air. When you reach up to grab it in the middle, you can, but it hurts your wrist. Now extend the bar on that dumbell 12 inches. When you reach up and grab it this time your wrist snaps, but it you grab it closer to the weights, it is easier. I hope this helps.
