...unequal society. Discuss? consider:
a). what is racism?
b). what does it mean to be racist?
c). what is the difference between active and passive racism.
d). who does racism affect? How? Why?
e). give example when you have been actively/passively racist - what was the situation, what did you do? how did you react? why?
f). what can we do to eliminate racist attitudes and beliefs
 
How can you be 'passive'? Either you partake in racism, or you don't. I don't think its anyone's duty to be a racism policeperson, nor do I buy into the 'if your not part of the solution," as if you aren't beign racist, that IS the solution. If you feel you are racist and try to change that, your also partaking in part of the solution.
Lead by your example. Anything beyond that is commendable, but not required. Don't judge those who live good lives just because they are not as vocal in their opposition.
What defines a 'racist' community? Isn't the whole point of eliminating racism that we don't judge one member of a group for the actions of indiviguals? Why judge a 'community' by the actions of a few members?
