Number of residential-neighborhood streetlights Los Angeles will retrofit with energy-efficient LED lights, part of the Clinton Climate Initiative. Starting this July and over a five-year period, the city will replace the incandescent bulbs in the streetlights with LEDs in a move expected to save the city $10 million and reduce carbon emissions by 40,500 tons annually.
