I own a male betta. He lives in a one gallon tabk on my desk. I just bought a thirty gallon tank with plants, a filter, and a heater so i think he would love it there. Im going to put six neon tetras and ten ghost shrimp in there too. Can my betta live with them?
I don't think they can... my betta didn't even get along with himself. I once stuck a mirror in his fish bowl and he started attacking his reflection. hmmm:/
Yea I think so, Ive seen them in community tanks a lot,
im not sure if they were females or males though, but I do know it was a showy type of betta. The other ones (plain looking with smaller fins) are actually used to fight and will most likely kill things in the tank... maybe instead of tetras, get something simi aggressive and hardy like tiger barbs.
Yes! I have a book on it... But i lost it in a move! But I remember It said you can just as long as they don't have the same fin type. Tetras are fine guppy's aren't. So yes your good to go!
