Can a Bluetooth USB transceiver act as a repeater?

Say I have a USB dongle on my PC, bluetooth cell phone near PC with 33 foot range and the transceiver has 100 foot range. Will my bluetooth headset be able to use the transceiver as a repeater or will it still be limited to the phone's bluetooth range?

The dongle is the master. In Bluetooth the communication range is entirely dependant on the master device in Bluetooth piconet.
