Can a sony ericsson battery work as a blackberry C-S2 battery?

I have a blackberry and the battery has gone bad and i have a sony ericsson phone that has a battery that looks similar to the blackberry C-S2 battery and i know its stupid to ask this but does the sony ericsson BST-37 battery work with a blackberry that uses a C-S2 battery?
 
I wouldn't do it. They got different numbers of contacts. You got a basic understanding of batteries which says "a battery is a battery +/-, what more do you need"? But with those kind of rechargeable laptop/mobile batteries, they have electronics in there to prevent overcharging and overheating. No joke, you hook it up wrong and you will see flames.
