Can an animal get addicted to nicotine from second hand smoke?

Just curious cause Ive seen peoples dogs walk up to their owner everytime they lite up a cigarette.

Maybe,ultimately if it can happen to people then it's potentially possible that animal can get addicted to nicotine from second hand smoking. But still there is no need to worry much about it.
