Can anyone help me sort out my travel adaptor?

I think I just broke my dad's travel adaptor. He's not in at the moment. I really need to get it fixed before he gets back. I need help. As soon as possible. Seriously, I don't understand it all- I tried to fit my mobile charger into it and the metal bit on the top went down... have I broken it?!?! Please help me!
